WEEK 6 - TASK 2A : KEY ARTWORK

To convey the message of the personality, playful and fun. Stroke can be rounded to make it look more friendly. It should shows the feeling of the personality, not too serious.

WEEK 7 - TASK 2A : KEY ARTWORK

The 'g' is not visible and not readable enough. It needs to be more obvious and easy to read the text.

WEEK 8 - TASK 2B : COLLATERALS

Good job on collaterals and IG feed design.

REFELECTION

EXPERIENCE

For task 2, designing text for a name I've chosen to do my pet's name Gumy. I enjoyed it a lot because we get to explore it ourself. Although I had some experience in designing a logotype, but this task let me explore with the styles and text myself, it is more of a relaxed and enjoyable exercise for me.

OBSERVATION

I took some time to figure out how to convey the story for the text, looking through references on Pinterest and bechance, I get a lot of inspiration! I learned to observe the colour scheme and combination. 

FINDINGS

The process for this task is a lot of work behind. I really enjoyed making the collaterals as if it's my own brand. I also get to learn something new, which is the logotype gif. It's my first time creating animated logotype, although it's only a 4 seconds gif but I spent hours on learning the tools and how to create it on After Effects. I am not very familiar with AE, it's a good start and I'm really happy that I manage to create the logotype smoothly with the outcome I wanted.
