We were to prepare at least 2 design concept for our book and decide which is more suitable, we had decided to go with concept 3 with photography style which will fits more as my content is related to Malaysian culture and titbits.

My first attempt for Turnitin submission exceeded the limitation (15%) with 17%.

WEEK 02

5.1 Background : Discussion rmb to refer back to my RQ, 1-Malaysia Titbits packaging 2-Malaysia culture 5.2 Graphic Element in Malaysia titbits packaging, this refers to my RQ 1, considering to have more informations here (add more words), this is to discuss about how the elements are important ! 5.3 Refer to RQ 2, reflect local culture, all of my discussion about the language should combine into 1, or can discuss it separately about each titbits packaging for example: how mamee reflects the culture, how sugus packaging reflects the culture. I should include the design aesthetic part into 5.3, as the design aesthtis also talks about how it reflects the culture, add it into my discussion one by one like when I talk about Mamee : language, color, layout, text, aesthetic Complete writing Background by next week

WEEK 03

1. Start putting the contents title in google docs so I can see the draft of how it looks like 2. Write in past tense 3. Discussion finish by wk 5 4. Rmb to put citation and write in own word. Unnecessary part that is not related to my research. Reword - Unity and Inclusiveness. Instead word the way round an important aspect in M while maltuculturlism. End with the food (elaborate), but also titbits (end 5.1). Show images of the keropok I mentioned, can put in those that are more general or ppl snacking image. These titbits reflect Malaysia culinary heritage and culture. Not report, say in this research, we- the researcher. A literature was conducted followed by primary data collection.

Color/layout/typo(5.2) - include 1 or 2 sample of packaging. 5.3.4 Localise snack by include local flavours, reflecting the titbits packaging, that contains Malaysia dishes as the flavours on the packaging design

WEEK 04

1. Change cover page - Doc in Google Classroom, Before contents- acknowledgement 5.2 - explain this part, this is to answer which research question , this is just an intro part to let my readers know these are the 4 parts of design element 5.2.1 - Cite no year: retrace back (not so reliable) 5.2.2 - Typo : Traditional Male titbits : look into it - keropok lekor/popo- different ethnics groups and languages. All these in 5.2 will be discuss in the type of packaging. 5.3.4 - explain about a bit about the flavour : nasa leak, ikan bills, explain how localise is it, how the taste is different in Malaysia. *Reference start writing in APA style *Check Image label

WEEK 05

5.2 Culture significant should be consider when designing packaging in Malaysia shield be consider.

5.2.1 The example of the green titbits photo. Anna - Schiff. The 3 photo example need to write write “figure 5.2.1b from left”. *Rmb to use the critical review that I did in last semester, don’t just rely on the research website I find.

5.2.2 the image I mention I need to write figure what. Beside just to identify the band, the image of the titbits to meet the legal requirements of the food regulation 1985 in order to prevent consumer for being mislead. is put on to the packaging so that people I=are not mislead to give a better understanding of the product.

5.2.4 put the image of the titbits I mentioned - traditional Malay titbits show the font.

5.3 part *Make use of my primary research, include my research in , what do they say about the titbits? Look back into my questionnaires and include in.

5.3.4 explain what is nasi lemak, anchovies, show image. " with "add in image"

WEEK 06

Acknowledgement 1 page and abstract 1 page 5.3 Grammar correction 5.3.1 According to some respondents in this study survey (correction) Quote* Spokes character 5.3.2 According to the survey (correction) add quote and evidence “…” must say that comes from my answer. From the studies survey* cite qualitative answer. Add indent. Change better image that can see the name of the product. 5.3.3 Keropok is crackers!! Explain a bit more about Jawi script because it is a Malay snack. 5.3.4 Round up back to packaging for ending, bring back to the packaging conversation. Conclusion - Recap the research problem, summarise discussion 1-2 paragraph, then explain how my research problem has been address, what is the conclusion from that whether I have answered my research question. Project recommendation - what kind of design project can be born out of the research to address the research problem. Make sure my Turnitin not exceed 15%

WEEK 07

Abstract Paraphrase, not“your product”. Implementation = collection, no need write “in this assignment”, a total of 82 responses. Some local and imported titbits and their packaging regarding their application of visual elements. Summary= the findings conclude that the use go graphic design… Content Spacing 1.5 double check. Results and findings - need to put all the bar chart. 3.1 Justification of question must put. After justfi,A sample of the questionnaire can be found in appendices put sample. Write a short intro for research method. 4.2 include visual analysis. Conclusion - (the findings inform that the use of graphic design ….this must be conclude in abstract too)before going to conclusion. What do I mean text color layout, explain more, the design elements were identified as…. What are the languages, what are the colours, which are the titbits often? My research title no need to caps in the last paragraph, 7.0 Future research new title

WEEK 09

For idea 3 is more suitable and matches with my research as all generation will goes to the small convenience store. But the font choice chosen for the heading may not be suitable, try to find a font that is serif and has a strong style. Following my reference with the layout of the text

WEEK 10

Match with the style, if the cover going for photography style the pages should not be too much illustration. Can keep the red, try to use th photo with the soft drinks and test it on the 9 frame.

WEEK 11

Remove the lines on top of the sub title, imprint information follow the guides given

WEEK 12

Submit Turnitin report. Book layout and design looks fine, but content need to be refined as the one i submitted for turnitin. Start placing it into Kreate. Not much progress shown

WEEK 13

Kreate: Do not remove the image placement, image after abstract should be added. Take caution on the word count. Text and spacing need adjustment follow the original. Citation should be surname and year, do not italic it. Problem Statement : 2 more paragapgh mention research question and research objective Methodology keep it short and straight to point: survey and visual analysis Book: update picture credit with page number

WEEK 14

A survey and visual analysis were carried out in this research as it is essential... intorduce the 4 choosen packaging titbits. use the same format to explain visual analysis Findings: need to see the percentage (my survey) The 4 elements: the survey shows that how many people (%) ... can create culture significance in the multicultural country Malaysia
