This project will be working with the SBS students, our class decided the products through a lucky draw, I've got Jackfruit seed as my topic. The first meeting for this project was with the SBS students presenting their products and researches.

After that, I start to sketch my design and ideas, they also provided the photos for the wedges, I tried to apply them on my packaging design.

Here are my few trials, regarding the use of styles and colours.

According to the target audience, I need to make my design looks more fun and playful, Mr Shamsul said my design is eye catching and playful, the thing is the image of the wedges will need to change (I need to wait for SBS students to update a better image). After discussion, I will go on to explore the design with the quirky background. Some of the designs that were shortlisted, but the colours are not suitable. Before that I thought that their wedges are spicy, because they wrote it in the slides but they say it is the original Kawan wedges is spicy, theirs are not so I redesigned without using the spicy keyword.

After some adjustment, we will need to present our current design to SBS students and lecturers. Here are the slides:

Planogram refinement

For the back of the text, they want me to try using black instead of white.

Students from SBS wants to make some changes to my design, increase the logo size of Kawan Food and remove the base. Also they decided not to use the flying wedge and ask me to change it to the bowl of wedges.

Then they're not satisfied with it, trying out my other colour scheme and asked me to not tilt my text (which my lecturer ask me to do so but they don't want it)
