REFLECTION
Experience
I had taken brand corporate before at my previous college, and it is one of my favorite module. Since we get to create a brand of ourselves, it is very fun to do so, because it's a very rare chance for us to have freedom on designing what we like. I try my very best until I am satisfied, I have learned a lot through this module, it gives me a lot of knowledge that is useful for my future project. From the first task learning from the basic breaking brand, until the final task I am able to really come up with a professional brand guideline, it is my biggest gain.
Observations
I had did many many research for this module, I get to explore and research tons of design styles and their rationale behind the design. How other designers keep their consistency using their logo constructed into the collaterals, it is not an easy task to make everything consistent and not repeating at the same time, to bring out the look and feel of the design vibe.
Findings
Through this module, I had tried and find the best style for my logo, that I created 2 logos for my brand, which the 2nd one actually suites and tells more about my brand, although I rushed to do so, but I am very satisfied and happy for myself that I tried to refine and explore the design style until it's good. The biggest gain for me in this module is I get to learn new tools which is the Interactive buttons in Indesign, looking through tutorials to learn the from the basic which is quite challenging but after familiar with it, I can create my own buttons, which I am really happy.
