REFLECTION

EXPERIENCE
A very freedom module I guess. We can explore any styles and direction we like, we don't have many chance to do so, so I really enjoyed that I can do any styles I want. It make this module fun and not so boring. I get to explore on different types of design styling ! Also I had the chance to design a lot compare to other modules, rather than just following the rules and layout. My favourite task among the module is Type and Play where I can create my key artwork and collaterals with any designs I like. I also learned a lot of new skills during this 14 weeks.

OBSERVATION
What I notice is that for my first task, I am not very good at creating a nice layout. Spent some time figuring and adjusting my layout for Task 1, search for a lot of reference to learn and understand each layout system. Overall, I am still very picky on design styling, I always hesitate on deciding what I want to do, because I wan everything included to my design. For example my Task 3 Finding Type, after scrolling through a lot of different fonts, I am interested in doing all kinds of style rather than just 1, that's why I did 2 different font type which I am not satisfy with the first one.

FINDING
First to mention is the IG feed design for Task 2. It may look easy and just posting images on IG, but the sequence of the feed makes a huge difference on the visual. Like the colour combination and white space. I need to try out few different sequence to see which one looks more comfortable. For the key artwork Gif, I realise that making an animated logotype is not easy ! I need to be very familiar with the tools with After Effects so that I can complete it smoothly.
